1. What is electronic money?
Electronic money (e-money) is equivalent to cash that is used in MoneXy system. E-money like cash gives an opportunity to buy goods and pay for services in a way convenient for you. By this, You can exchange e-money into cash in any time.
2. Where can I use e-money?
E-money allows You to make immediate payments via Internet. You can receive and transfer e-money to any individual. In the near future You will be able to shop in real stores, restaurants and shopping centers with the help of e-money MoneXy. It will be possible by virtue of a special chip in sticker form. The sticker is placed on the mobile phone, so a seller can perform a contactless readout of the information about Your e-purse. It is fast and convenient.
3. What is e-purse?
E-purse is a personal data account in MoneXy system. The number of e-purse matches the number of mobile phone registered in MoneXy system.
4. What is e-money currency?
The currency of e-money in the Ukrainian MoneXy system is hrynvnia.
5. Who can use e-money (individuals, legal entities, non-residents)?
E-money can be used by any individual (resident or non-resident) provided he/she has a valid mobile phone number of any Ukrainian operator. The seller that receives e-money as payment for goods must be registered as a legal entity in accordance with the Laws of Ukraine and have a current account in the Ukrainian bank.
6. What is the cost of money transfer?
E-money transfer to the seller is free of charge; E-money transfer between two individuals is 1% out of the amount of transfer; E-money transfer for withdrawal from the system is 1% out of the amount of transfer.
All fees are charged strictly under the tariffs that are explained to the User before the transaction and in case of disagreement with the proposed amount the User is entitled to refuse from such transaction.

7. Are there additional fees?
No. There are only fees that are stated on the system’s web-site.
8. Can a legal entity transfer e-money to an individual?
No. Sellers are legal entities that can only accept e-money as payment for goods and transfer e-money to other Sellers (including private entrepreneurs) as payment for goods purchased for their production (business) needs.
9. Is it possible to send e-money abroad?
E-money in MoneXy system is denominated in hryvnia. It is theoretically possible to transfer e-money abroad, but in practice the recipient abroad is unlikely to get benefit from e-money denominated in hryvnia.
10. Can a non-resident of Ukraine be registered in MoneXy system?
Yes. There are no restrictions for non-resident registration in MoneXy system.
11. Can I get money transferred from another country?
Yes, only in the case if the currency of money transferred from the purse of the user of MoneXy system abroad is hryvnia.
12. What do I need to be registered in MoneXy system?
In order to be registered in the system, it is necessary to go to the
system’s website, specify Your mobile number and press “Enter”. Then it must be confirmed with one-time password received by SMS, and since this moment You are a registered user.
13. What does the registration cost?

14. What to do if SMS is not received?

16. How to replenish the purse?
E-purse can be replenished in any bank office or via bank transfers, payment terminals, authorized payment acceptance outlets, with the help of VISA and MASTERCARD cards, mobile phone account etc. A full list of possible ways to replenish the e-purse is available on the

17. How to transfer money to another user?
You need to log in the system and go to the item “Another user”, specify the recipient’s phone number (it can be done even if the recipient doesn’t have MoneXy purse). After money has been transferred, the recipient gets SMS on crediting, then he can use the money at his own discretion (provided the remittee is authorized on the web-site www.MoneXy.ua).
18. Does any confirmation on transferred funds come?
The remittee receives SMS on credited amount.
19. Is it possible to withdraw money transfer?
The payment can be withdrawn in exceptional cases, namely, if the store fails to fulfill its commitments or upon the request of law-enforcement authorities. All disputes between the involved parties shall be resolved on an individual basis if the relevant documents are provided.
20. Are there any restrictions on transfer amount?
For individuals the amount of e-money in the user’s purse shall not exceed UAH 8000. Correspondently, it is impossible to send more than UAH 8000 at a time.
For legal entities there are no limits on amount. The minimum transfer amount via the system makes up 0.01 hryvnia.
21. Where can I exchange e-money into real cash?
You can do it in Kontrakt Bank or in any agent bank.
You just need to come to the bank and get cash against presentation of passport and identification code.
22. What is the e-purse validity?
The e-purse validity is unlimited. It is valid as long as You have a mobile phone with the number which You provided in the course of registration in MoneXy system.
23. How can I change my telephone number in the system?
A telephone number can not be changed in the system. If You have registered some mobile number in MoneXy, and then You have (or plan) to use a different mobile number, You need to log in MoneXy and transfer the e-money from Your old phone number to the new one.
24. Is it possible to temporarily block the e-purse?
Yes. In case of loss, damage or theft to the handset (SIM-card) the user is entitled to block his e-purse. Thus, You need to contact the help desk of MoneXy on its

The e-purse blocking doesn’t mean the closing but the change of its status upon which the transactions are impossible. The e-purse can be later unblocked by the user.
25. Is it possible to exchange funds with WebMoney system?
For the time being – no, but it will be possible in the future.
26. What are guarantees of my money safety? Won’t it be so that I can not exchange my e-money into cash?
Our technology is simple and affordable but at the same time it ensures reliability and safety. All transactions are performed through secure link channels in an encrypted form. Each transaction has its unique temporary password that is used immediately by one user and not anyone else.
